DESIRED OUTCOMES

CPP is committed to enhancing coordination, ensuring safety, and delivering long-term mobility improvements for Central Texas. The construction projects may present short-term challenges, but the lasting impact will be a safer, more efficient transportation network.
CPP partners will create a public information platform to communicate with the public and are exploring real-time traffic information tools such as a telephone hotline, an interactive website, and user-friendly mobile apps.

 

To lessen the impacts of these projects, CPP partners will begin informing community members on how everyone can play a role in reducing transportation demand on our roadways and using alternatives to increase the efficiency of our existing regional network.
During times of significant traffic disruptions due to the combined impacts of projects, CPP Partners will come together to coordinate messaging and communicate important information and mobility options to the public.

 

By collaborating in advance, CPP partners hope to identify potential conflicts between projects before they occur and inform the public of any potential impacts.

 

 

By using a centralized platform for all agencies to enter construction and lane closure data, CPP hopes to reduce redundancies and streamline communication.

 

 

Over the long term, our community will have a safer, multimodal transportation network to meet our mobility needs
for generations to come.
